This Intensive Youth Development Boot Camp for youth in the African continent will be pegged against the COIF Youth development Program which aligns with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal #8 (UN SDG8) - Decent Work and Economic Growth – to “promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all” and African Union (AU) Agenda 2063 Goals# 12 & 18 - "Capable Institutions and Transformative leadership in place" and "Engaged and Empowered Youth and Children"
Since the COIF program seeks to close the ‘achievement’ and ‘skills’ gaps amongst the youth in various African countries using a strategy toolkit, it will focus on building supportive relationships between youths and their trainers.
The support provided to the youth participants will include participation in an intensive Boot Camp to help them to discover themselves, their skills, talents and unleash their potential to execute their goals and ultimately contribute to the social change and economic growth that the continent needs.
